These pumpkin spiced apple slices are a delicious, but nutritious treat for the holiday season. Better yet, they're REALLY easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced (We recommend Honeycrisp apples)
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/3 pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup organic brown sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Minced ginger (optional)
- Sauté apples in a nonstick pan over medium heat for 5 minutes
- Meanwhile, whisk together cider, pumpkin and brown sugar
- Add pumpkin mix and cinnamon stick to apples and bring to a boil
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes or until apples are saturated and liquid has been absorbed
- Top with Thrive Tribe Maple Walnut bites and non-dairy yogurt
